Here are two calculators which predict the risk of graft rupture following ACL reconstruction.
Norwegian Ligament Registry
Reports risk of graft rupture at 1, 2 and 5 years. Requires 5 inputs: age, KOOS QOL score, time to reconstruction, graft and fixation. The model was developed using a machined learning tool analyzing a data set of 24,935 patients (1).
MOON Risk Calculator
The Multicentre Orthopaedic Outcomes Network (MOON) developed a risk calculator by assessing the outcomes of n=839 14-22 year olds who underwent a primary ACL reconstruction with a normal contralateral knee. It is only valid for 14-22 year olds. There are options to calculate the risk of ACL reconstruction re-tear or contralateral ACL injury (2).
